音楽史の中で周縁化されてきた、フィンランドと日本の女性作曲家たち。彼女たちはどのような背景を背負い、ジェンダーの課題と向き合いながら作品を生み出したのでしょうか。
本企画では、両国の音楽史を読み解くレクチャーに加え、7人の女性作曲家およびシベリウスの作品によるミニコンサートをお届けします。フィンランドのタンペレ・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団員2名と、広島大学で音楽教育を学ぶ学生3名の共演という貴重な機会です。19世紀ロマン派から現代まで、時代を超えて紡がれる豊かな音世界と文化遺産をご堪能ください。

Female composers from Finland and Japan have long occupied the margins of music history. What backgrounds shaped them, and how did they navigate gender-related challenges while creating their works?
This event features a lecture exploring the musical histories of both nations, followed by a mini-concert showcasing works by Sibelius and seven female composers. It offers a rare opportunity to witness a collaboration between two members of the Tampere Philharmonic Orchestra from Finland and three students studying music education at Hiroshima University.
