The mission of the Hiroshima University Education Vision Research Institute (EVRI) is to “propose educational alternatives”, “promote educational reconstruction”, and “become an educational interaction medium”. In order to realize this mission, EVRI will contribute to the region and society from the two axes of “Research” and “Social Implementation ”, and will return the results of activities. This page introduces the purpose and specific activities of these two axes.
EVRI will promote research from three units and six clusters to design the next generation of education and to propose and build new forms of society. In order to share a specific vision of research activities with everyone, we interviewed the leaders of each cluster and created an interview article. EVRI actively promotes social contribution activities in parallel with academic research activities. To that end, EVRI works with organizations and institutions inside and outside the university to solve various issues ranging from familiar areas to the international community from the viewpoint of education, and proposes and implements various programs. EVRI has dispatched staff to many overseas educational and research institutions, and has been accepting researchers and students from outside institutions to Hiroshima University.
