Curriculum Study Unit Leader (IB Education Cluster), Professor
My research in Art Education focuses mainly on handicrafts, especially artistic ceramic. From my research and craft work I gain much of my knowledge and inspiration, and I leverage them to enhance my teaching.

In EVRI, I am a member of the IB Education Cluster. We collect, study and analyze the curriculum, lessons and assessment scheme practiced in the IB schools in Japan, in order to develop a model curriculum, lessons and assessment for “Arts” with IB characteristics in Japanese.
